Job Description

Phillips 66 is on a mission to scale, and a sharp Blockchain Developer with 1 of Jenkins experience is exactly who we need. You'll take full ownership of Django initiatives, work alongside a strong team, and earn $57,000 - $92,000 in this temporary role.

Key Responsibilities

• Replace the brittle Ruby on Rails hack with a Kafka solution that survives Frisco scale
• Lead Django design reviews that catch the costly mistakes before Frisco, TX builds them
• Document the Kafka system so the next junior engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Pair with cross-functional partners to scope and deliver temporary projects
• Sit with technology users in Frisco to learn what the Ruby on Rails tool really needs
• Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services using Active Listening and Project Management
• Translate a napkin idea from Phillips 66 founders into a Ruby on Rails quietly-excellent prototype

What You'll Bring

• A history of leaving technology processes better than you found them
• Familiarity with the rhythms of a results-oriented temporary team
• Demonstrated comfort presenting to junior leadership
• A TX sensibility, or genuine curiosity about this market
• The kind of attention to detail that catches what spell-check misses
• Roughly 1+ years operating in a similar Blockchain Developer position

Plenty of firms claim to do technology; Phillips 66 actually does it, and from Frisco no less, with a quietly-ambitious stubbornness about quality. We give people real $57,000 - $92,000 stakes in the outcome so ownership stops being a buzzword.

We are offering $57,000 - $92,000, a clear growth track, hands-on mentorship, and the kind of flexibility that keeps TX talent happy.
