NDT Technician ManufacturingNSC Staffing has an immediate opportunity for a NDT Technician Level II in Brunswick, GA!Weekend Shift | Friday through Sunday | 5:00 AM to 5:30 PMOur client, a leading manufacturer supporting U.S. Navy and heavy industrial programs, is seeking an experienced NDT Technician Level II to join their Quality team. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of welded and fabricated components through non destructive testing, dimensional inspection, and detailed quality documentation.This is an excellent opportunity for an inspector who takes pride in precision, compliance, and maintaining the highest quality standards on mission critical products.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Level II non destructive testing utilizing:Visual Testing (VT)Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)Inspect weldments and fabricated assemblies to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirementsVerify dimensional compliance using measuring and layout toolsComplete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality recordsAudit welding procedures and verify welder qualificationsConfirm calibration status of inspection and measurement equipmentCollaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to resolve quality concernsSupport ISO 9001 quality management initiativesMaintain NDT equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of inspection experience in a welding, fabrication, shipbuilding, or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and engineering documentationCurrent Level II certifications in VT, MT, and PTExperience using tape measures, combination squares, levels, and other precision measuring toolsBasic math skills including working with fractionsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Navy, defense, or military manufacturing programsFamiliarity with military or naval quality standardsExperience with advanced measurement equipment including:MicrometersOptical or transit levelsCoordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)Why Consider This Opportunity?Three day weekend shift scheduleStable work supporting critical defense and industrial programsOpportunity to expand technical inspection skills and certificationsComprehensive benefits packageCareer growth within a highly respected manufacturing organizationNSC Staffing is committed to connecting skilled professionals with industry leading employers.
