Description We are looking for a creative Video Editor to support podcast production and content distribution for a long-term contract opportunity based in Pennsylvania. In this role, you will turn recorded conversations into engaging audio and video assets designed for YouTube and social media audiences. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys shaping long-form content into compelling short-form moments while working independently in a remote, flexible environment. Responsibilities Edit full podcast episodes into engaging video content ready for publication across YouTube and other digital channels. Refine recorded audio by improving clarity, balancing sound levels, and reducing unwanted background noise for a high-quality final product. Enhance video episodes with graphics, transitions, captions, and other visual elements that strengthen viewer engagement. Develop short-form promotional clips by identifying standout moments and adapting them into content for social media platforms. Prepare and export media in platform-appropriate formats to support performance across YouTube and digital distribution channels. Partner with stakeholders to ensure each edited piece reflects brand standards, messaging priorities, and audience expectations. Organize multiple editing assignments efficiently and deliver completed content within agreed production timelines. Requirements Prior experience editing podcasts, interview-based content, or other long-form audio and video productions. Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Audition, Final Cut Pro, Descript, or comparable software. Strong understanding of video presentation standards and content optimization practices for YouTube. Demonstrated ability to repurpose longer recordings into concise, engaging clips for social media use. Solid editorial judgment with close attention to pacing, storytelling, and technical quality. Ability to work independently, manage shifting workloads, and maintain consistency with minimal supervision. Effective communication and organizational skills to support collaboration and deadline management. Innovation starts with people. All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
